Victoria's a great city. I used to live there but now live further up island. In the first place there's really no bad area to live in, but with the increase of drugs and street people I'd try not to live too close to downtown. Also as this city grows it's not a good idea if you have to commute to live too far away, and by that I mean to the west in the areas of Colwood, Langford, or Metchosin. The Gorge is a beautiful area and has a very good location.
