Hi all,
I'm looking into moving to BC, as many others are on this post.
I'd like everyone's honest opinion on some of these cities I've listed below and next to them are what I think of them.
It's been so hard to choose, I've been wanting to go to Victoria most to finish up some school and then ultimately move to White Rock or Nelson.
Victoria?
I've heard that there are way too many homeless people in the streets although not harmful they are quite a few because of the mild weather and that it's the mecca for retirement and not many people in their 20's that are locals.
Nelson and White Rock?
I like that both places are smaller towns although Nelson more cultural and Hippy-ish can you really get a job there and housing?
And White Rock seems like a fantastic place to live all the great values what living in California would be like minus the earthquakes..but same concern jobs?
Kelowna and Kamloops?
I like'em both but think that they're vast cities and not having a car would be a problem and I heard that they've been having some difficulties with crime and bikers, although if you don't get in anyones business you should be fine but is it really safe and fun towns?
And then Nanaimo?
Is it anything like Vic, or not worth living in?
Any other good town youd like to mention please feel free.
THANK YOU |
