Subject:Another "moving to BC"

Hi there. We are also thinking of moving to BC in about a years time. I have always been fond of the province and have long wanted to make it my home. I have so many favourite areas though, that I'm having a hard time deciding on where to start looking. I of course, love the fruit growing, the mountains and the ocean. I think I would like someplace on Vancouver Island best, but am not sure if fruit trees, such as cherries, peaches and pears, can be grown there. I love the abundance of blackberries, but do blueberries also grow as easily as by Vancouver? I most sincerely appreciate any insight anyone can give me on this!! It is a question I've been seeking an answer to for a very long time! Thanks so much for your help!
