| Hi there. My name is Michelle and I am 36 years old. I live in New Jersey but my mother is Canadian. She left when I was 10 months old. I know her name is Valerie and her maiden name is Bird. She is half Native. She was married to a man by the name of Southgate 30+ years ago (that is the name on my birth certificate) and I had heard that she remarried some time ago and her last name is McCormack or maybe McCormick. I don't know how true this is but I had heard that she was working in the timber industry cleaning mens barracks in Summerland, BC and that she goes home to stay with her mother outside of Edmonton in the off season. I know this post is rambling and may not make much sense but that's all the info I have to go on. If anyone knows of her or has some ideas of how I can find her, I'd really appreciate it.
