BC Parks - Dixie Cove Provincial Park, Kyuquot Sound, British Columbia

Boaters using the strategic and scenic anchorage of Dixie Cove can anchor in clear water with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The menacing swells that roll down the west coast don't penetrate Dixie Cove.

Boaters can explore the North Island's wild and rugged coastline. Visit the isolated settlement of Kyuquot, a unique experience for those who seek to bond with the land, the sea and native people.

The 156-hectare park (89 hectares upland and 67 hectares foreshore) is undeveloped with no facilities provided. The wilderness area behind the anchorage contains old-growth rainforest. From this safe overnight anchorage, you can explore the nearby Rugged Point Park and the rest of Kyuquot Sound.

Dixie Cove Provincial Park is located in Kyuquot Sound, approximately 16 miles (25 km) northwest of the town of Zeballos. Access to Hahoae Island is by boat only, from the community of Kyuquot in Kyuquot Sound.
