Located in the southern interior of BC, on the western shore of the Revelstoke reservoir, Martha Creek Provincial Park hosts one of the few sandy beaches in the area and provides playground opportunities including an adventure playground, indoor cook shelter and a large picnic field complete with volleyball net and horseshoe pitch. The park’s western exposure on Lake Revelstoke provides scenic views, as the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains reflect in the lake’s long and narrow surface. Excellent fishing, swimming, boating canoeing, kayaking and hiking to Martha Lakes in the Selkirks await travellers who wish for more than just an overnight stay.
There are 25 vehicle accessible campsites, including 10 doubles and 2 pull-through sites. Three of these sites have tent pads. All the sites are evenly spaced, open, sunny and hot with a welcoming afternoon wind. The park has services from May to September and offers campsites on a first-come, first-served basis only. Campsite reservations are not accepted. The campground is open from May to September and fees are collected during this time. The reservoir is very popular with local anglers, rainbow and bull trout are available. Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have an appropriate licence. Check the BC Fishing Regulations Synopsis for restrictions and quotas. A paved and concrete, singlewide boat launch is located at the southern tip of the park, at the far end of the park entrance road. Overnight parking for vehicles and boat trailers is allowed in the day-use/picnic parking lot. A large wharf accommodating up to 4 boats is available to dock your boat.
Martha Creek Provincial Park is located on Highway 23, 12 miles (19 km) north of Revelstoke.
