V2V is a daily luxury cruise service linking downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria in British Columbia. V2V Vacations offers a uniquely comfortable and convenient passenger-only service for the traveller.
Travel aboard the V2V Empress includes a personalised onboard concierge service, 3 luxurious onboard seating classes, luxury leather seating complete with the convenience of USB ports and power outlets for every seat, onboard Wifi, a selection of BC cuisine, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service.
The 3.5-hour daily service on the wheelchair-accessible V2V Empress (capacity 254 passengers) departs Victoria at 9am and arrives in Vancouver around midday. The return trip from Vancouver leaves Coal Harbour at 1:30pm. The route will be reversed from September 20th to October 15th, 2018, with the ferry departing Vancouver at 8am and arriving in Victoria at 11:30am. The return trip departs Victoria at 4pm and arrives at Coal Harbour in Vancouver at 7:30pm.
During the 2019 high season, between April and September, the vessel will depart Vancouver at 8am and leave Victoria at 4:30pm. V2V’s daily cruise service will cease on October 16, 2018, and resume with regular service starting March 15, 2019.
The voyage from Victoria meanders through the beautiful BC Gulf Islands and Active Pass, and then sails across the Strait of Georgia the Salish Sea and into downtown Vancouver Harbour.
The V2V terminal in Victoria is located in the historic Steamship Terminal in Victoria’s Inner Harbour. The V2V Vancouver berth and ticket office is located on Coal Harbour waterfront at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Center at the foot of the Vancouver Convention Centre. Both terminals offer convenient access to the major visitor amenities in Victoria and Vancouver.
