White
River
The White River flows into the Salmon
River near Highway 19, south of Sayward on the east coast of Vancouver
Island.
The river offers
a good run of summer steelhead during June and July with limited
winter steelhead in February and March. Dolly Varden, cutthroat
and rainbow trout are found in the river, with runs of coho salmon
in the fall.
