Harris River

Southbound Harris Creek flows into the San Juan River, just south of the bridge over the Harris Creek Main logging road.

The run of summer steelhead in Harris Creek is low during June and July, with the winter steelhead run in February and March. Runs of coho salmon occur in the fall. Fishing is invariably good after a few days of rain.

Access to the river is good along this road, as well as from the Robertson and Hillcrest logging roads from the southern shore of Cowichan Lake.
