Memory Island Provincial Park incorporates Memory Island, a small island at the southern end of Shawnigan Lake on Southern Vancouver Island. This island provides sanctuary and habitat for a variety of small mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, plants and fungi.

It only requires a short 1-km paddle to reach this tranquil little park from the lakeshore. A boat launch is located on the west side of the Malahat Drive section of Highway 1.

Launch your canoe or kayak here and paddle up the lake to reach Memory Island, the largest of a small chain of islets.
