Running from February 21 to March 10\, 2024\, at The Russian Hall’s basement (600 Campbell Street)\, this production delves into the city’s murky past. Playwright-in-Residence Cheyenne Rouleau crafts a fictional narrative around an all-female gang during Vancouver’s 1972 street gang crisis. Directed by local luminary Jamie King\, the play promises to transport audiences back 50 years to a once-infamous East Vancouver neighborhood. Amidst clashes for drug trade control\, police corruption\, and lurking danger\, the show delivers an immersive experience.
