VanDusen Festival of Lights 2025–2026

The VanDusen Festival of Lights is one of Vancouver’s signature holiday events, transforming the 15-acre botanical garden into a dazzling winter illuminated wonderland with over one million sparkling lights. Visitors stroll through themed light displays, including illuminated tunnels, whimsical installations like the interactive Wood Wide Web, and shimmering features such as the Dancing Lights show synchronized to music.

The festival also showcases special exhibits like the Great Bear Rainforest installation in the visitor centre, and multiple opportunities to warm up with seasonal food and drinks from on-site vendors. For a calmer experience, a sensory-friendly night is offered with reduced capacity, lower audio volumes, and no flashing lights.
