The 58-hectare park is surrounded by mature forest and complemented by a 1.2-hectare lake that is a popular fishing lake for local residents as it is stocked on an annual basis with eastern brook trout.

Park facilities include day-use and picnic areas, drinking water, and flush toilets.

Ryan Provincial Park is located just north of Yahk on Crowsnest Highway 3.
