2025 Photo Contest: Parks of British Columbia
BritishColumbia.com, in proud partnership with BC Parks, invites you to celebrate the beauty of British Columbia’s protected places through photography.
This collaboration is part of a special contest to select 12 photographs for the official 2026 Parks of British Columbia Fundraising Calendar, with proceeds supporting the BC Parks Foundation.
We’re calling on BC residents—both professional photographers and outdoor enthusiasts—to share their favorite park moments for a chance to win fantastic prizes and have their work featured in next year’s calendar.
Contest submissions are open from [start date] to [end date].
After the entry period, the public will vote on our website from [voting start date] to [voting end date] to help select the 12 winning images.
Winners will be announced on [announcement date] via our social media channels.

- Free copy of the calendar mailed to each winner
- Top 3 overall winners will receive an exclusive BC Parks prize package, including park gear and local BC-made products
Submission Guidelines
- Photos must be taken in a provincial or regional park in British Columbia
- You may submit up to 3 entries per theme
- Images must be high resolution (300dpi minimum) and in JPEG format
- Include the following with each submission:
- Photographer’s full name and contact info
- Park name and location
- Date the photo was taken
- Theme the photo corresponds to

By submitting your photos, you agree to grant BritishColumbia.com and BC Parks the right to use your images for the calendar

By submitting my photographs to the 2025 Parks of British Columbia Photo Contest, I hereby grant
BritishColumbia.com and BC Parks the right to publish, reproduce, and use my images for
editorial and promotional purposes. I understand and agree that my submitted photos may appear—without notice or additional
compensation—in various formats, including but not limited to:
- Print and digital calendars
- Magazines and newsletters
- Social media platforms
- Websites and digital publications
- Public displays and educational resources
Furthermore, I grant permission for the use of my likeness, image, and voice in any photographs, audio, or video recordings
taken in connection with this contest or related public events. I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- My image, voice, and/or recording may be edited, copied, exhibited, or distributed for promotional or educational use.
- I waive the right to inspect or approve the final materials where my likeness may appear.
- I waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of these materials.
