This small but beautifuly situated Bridge Lake Provincial Park is particularly popular with anglers. It will win the heart of anyone who has the good fortune to spend a night here, particularly in fall once the mosquito season has ended.
A walking trail skirts the lake and provides an excellent afternoon’s exercise. There are 13 vehicle campsites and 3 walk-in sites within in the park that provide only basic facilities. Bridge Lake is open May 15 – September 30; gate is closed during the off-season. There is a small day-use/picnic area on the shores of Bridge Lake, which also provides a boat launch. A note to visitors, the nearest public telephone is at Sheridan Lake Store.
Bridge Lake contains rainbow, lake trout and burbot. Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have an appropriate licence.
The park is located 51km east of 100 Mile House off Highway 24 near the south end of Bridge Lake.
