Premier Listings for Blackcomb Glacier Park
Blackcomb Glacier Provincial Park is situated adjacent to the northwestern side of Garibaldi Provincial Park, above Whistler Village. This small park area was carved out of a portion of Garibaldi Provincial Park in 1990 to protect the upper parts of the Blackcomb Glacier.
The 250-hectare park provides opportunities for hiking in summer, and skiing and snowboarding in winter, but there are no facilities at the park.
Blackcomb Glacier Provincial Park is located between Fitzsimmons Creek and Wedge Creek on Blackcomb Mountain, above and due west of Whistler Village. Winter access is available through a chain of chair lifts from Blackcomb Ski development. Summer access is available through the bottom of the ski development, and then up a trail into the park.
