Sooke Mountain Provincial Park is located in the Sooke Mountains, 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Sooke on Vancouver Island.

The park is currently undeveloped and therefore offers no facilities or maintained hiking trails. This natural area lends itself well to wilderness hiking, mountain biking and offroad 4×4 fun, although recreational use of the land by off-roaders continues to be a hotly-debated struggle with park officials.

Fishermen wishing to test their flyfishing skills pass through Sooke Mountain Park on their way to the remote and productive Shields Lake and Crabapple Lake.

Access to Sooke Mountain Provincial Park is via a rough and neglected logging road that is a continuation of Harbourview Road in Sooke, off Sooke Road (West Coast Highway 14). The road to the park is subject to closure during the dry season, and requires a 4×4 vehicle.
