LEGENDARY POWDER. BIG MOUNTAIN TERRAIN. SMALL TOWN CHARM. This place means business. Backed by legendary powder, big-mountain terrain, and small-town charm, it’s the only resort you’ll need to visit next winter. Nestled in interior British Columbia, Canada, Revelstoke is renowned for its incredible terrain, deep snow (averaging 10.5M annually), and stunning views. It’s the ultimate playground for skiers and snowboarders alike. Home to the most vertical in North America, the mountain promises an unforgettable adventure.
GETTING TO REVELSTOKE MOUNTAIN RESORT:
Travel has never been easier. With direct flights from LAX, most guests choose to fly into Kelowna International Airport, followed by a scenic 2.5-hour drive through BC’s interior. Daily shuttle services, rental cars, and private transfers are available from Kelowna. Alternatively, Calgary International Airport offers a robust flight schedule, with a 4.5-hour transfer to the resort. Revelstoke is well worth the journey.
ON THE SLOPES: With 3,121 acres of terrain, 75 named runs, and 4 alpine bowls, there’s no shortage of big lines and deep turns. Add in 1,713 meters (5,620 feet) of vertical, the longest lift-accessed descent in North America, and you’ve got a serious skier’s playground. From wide-open bowls to perfectly spaced glades and rolling groomers, the mountain offers the ideal balance of cruisers and ego bruisers. Although having a reputation for being an extreme mountain, Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers a diverse range of terrain suitable for all skill levels. The new progression zone, located at the top of the Revelation Gondola, featuring the Cupcake Carpet and Stellar Chair takes you from beginner-friendly zones and naturally moves you into steeper, more challenging terrain at your own pace. It’s safe to say they’ve got what you’re looking for and maybe a little more.
BEYOND THE RESORT: SELKIRK TANGIERS HELI SKIING
For those craving the next level of adventure, Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing takes Revelstoke’s legendary powder to new heights—literally. Operating since 1978, STHS has exclusive access to over 500,000 acres of pristine terrain stretching across the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains. From high-alpine glaciers to perfectly spaced old-growth forests, every run delivers that once-in-a-lifetime feeling. Whether you’re booking a single-day experience or a multi-day package with professional guides and gourmet mountain meals, it’s the ultimate bucket-list add-on to your Revelstoke trip. When the gondola stops spinning, the real adventure is just getting started. WHERE TO STAY:
Revelstoke offers a wide range of lodging that caters to every traveler. From luxury ski-in/ski-out hotels to cozy, budget-friendly motels that capture the essence of ski-town vibes, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a little bit of both, you’re certain to find your perfect winter retreat within the city limits. Ski-in/Ski-out: Stay slopeside at The Sutton Place Hotel—Revelstoke’s only ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Just steps from the Revelation Gondola, the hotel features 200 condominium-style units equipped with modern furnishings, premium amenities, and access to three on-site dining experiences. Each unit offers spectacular views stretching from the Columbia River to the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains.
THE TOWN: The town of Revelstoke (Revy), its foundations built on forestry and the CP Rail, runs deep with history, culture, and inspiration. It may be small but don’t let the size fool you; there is no shortage of unique shopping and dining experiences. Whether you’re on the hunt for local art, the perfect souvenir, or new gear, Revy has you covered. When it comes to food, be sure to come with an empty stomach! From Après pit stops to craft cocktails and brews, all the way to locally sourced fine dining, there are too many options to choose from.
