Loon Lake Provincial Park is permanently closed and all facilities have been removed.

There are basic services available in the community of Loon Lake, with gas and laundry facilities available at Cache Creek or Clinton.

Loon Lake Provincial Park was located approximately 32 miles (50 km) northeast of Cache Creek, via a 17-mile (27-km) paved road off the Cariboo Highway 97.
