There are three developed beaches on Okanagan Lake at Kickininee Provincial Park: Kickininee, Pyramid, and Soorimpt, which features a boat launch. This is a scenic, day-use and picnic area, with sandy beaches along the lake backed by uplands of ponderosa pine and sagebrush. Be prepared for crowds during peak season.

On hot days people are out on the lake in canoes, boats, tubes, dinghies, or what have you. Bring your snorkelling gear to explore the lake’s treasures. There is no camping permitted, as the park is intended for day-use only. Each of the three beach areas has a picnic/day-use area, flush and pit toilets and is wheelchair accessible.

The park is tucked between Highway 97 and Okanagan Lake just north of Penticton. Kickininee is the southernmost, followed by Soorimpt and then Pyramid, which is closer to Summerland.
