This 49 hectare park is nestled in the Monashee Mountains and features the 3km long Jewel Lake. Jewel Lake is a very popular destination for anglers, rainbow trout can be caught by fly-casting in summer or ice fishing in winter. In 1913, a 17kg rainbow trout was pulled out of the waters of Jewel Lake, which still holds the record today. There is a small boat launch in the park, but watercraft are restricted to 10 horsepower.

The park offers great opportunities for water sports such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking and boating.

There are 26 campsites in a wilderness setting including 3 double sites, all available on a first-come, first-served basis. The operator maintains the campground from May 20 to Sept 5. The gate is closed during the off season. The majority of sites are small and private, enclosed by a thick forest of young hemlock and Douglas fir with a mature birch and larch towering above. The sites are not appropriate for 5th wheel trailers and other large RVs. Only the basic facilities are provided – picnic tables, pit toilets, firewood and water.

The park is located 10km north of Greenwood off Highway 3 via a gravel access road.
